COMMON NAME: ORNAMENTAL ONION
Allium 'Millenium,' otherwise known as Ornamental Onion, features 2" globes of bright rosy-purple blooms on tall glossy green stems that bloom in mid to late summer. Unlike many others, Allium 'Millenium' is a true clump former with sterile seed so it does not spread about the landscape.
Ornamental Onion is a bulbous plant that prefers full sun and well-drained, moist to dry soil. Allium 'Millenium' is also well-adapted to sandy soils. Great as a cut flower.
